New Roommates Ted and Robin become FWB's to solve their co-habitant disputes. Barney deals with his jealousy in an unhealthy release. Marshall struggles with reading magazines at work, which becomes a euphemism for the scatalogical.
At his father's gravesite, Marshall recaps adventures of NYE, where Lily informs Mickey about being pregnant, Ted and Barney open Puzzles in Ted's apartment and Robin gets an on-air position thanks to another Sandy mishap.
Barney has the tables turned on him when he decides to court Quinn/Karma and gets gaslighted and his pockets emptied. Robin becomes more captor than guest while staying with Marshall and Lily in Long Island.
In a clever ruse, Barney and Quinn set up the gang to believe they've ruined their relationship. Robin and Ted squable over Quinns apartment and Marshall retells ill advised sex stories about him and Lily.
