Marshall quits his GNB job to intern for the NRDC with Lily's full and eventually waning support. Ted and Zoey show no support on anything. Barney plays the long-con to get revenge on Marshall. Robin introduces the concept of graduation goggles.

Ted is faced with the possibility that he's the bad guy in the story of him and Zoey after spending time with the Captain. Barney wrestles with his feelings for Nora. Marshall won't throw one at Lily until he solves the world pollution crisis.

Ted hesitantly moves forward into a relationship with Zoey. Marshall regresses into a helpless child in Minnesota. Barney tries to score with desperate women the night before Valentines Day, but instead ends up falling for Robin's workfriend Nora. Oh, and we meet Nora for the first time.

A story surrounding a Katie Perry cameo has the gang playing telephone to catch Marshall (in MN) up on Ted's suddenly convenient feelings for Zoey.

In a very special HIMYM, we attend Marvin Eriksen's funeral and watch Marshall struggle to discover his father's last words and whether they were suitable. The rest of the gang supports him in their own way.

Becky's little-girl-talk shines in this episode of HIMYM, irritating Robin while enchanting Ted.. Marshall tries to commandeer the gender of their yet-to-be-conceived baby.

The male members of the gang are appalled at the salty sailor talk they hear about Robin's new boyfriend Max. Ted is ready to sacrifice his GNB project for an attractive protestor.

The gang races across town against each other after disputing what's the fastest mode of NYC transportation to see Woody Allen at a restaurant. We learn about the frustrations in life they're all dealing with.....in the end, we just get a LOT of Maury Povich.

Barney resorts to seduction methods to convince Ted to design the revamped GNB headquarters building project. Robin leaves drunken threatening messages on Don's voicemail....but in a hilarious way.

While helping to pack up Loretta's house, the home Barney and James grew up in, they uncover information about James' real father. Robin over, then undersells a blind date for Ted.

Ted runs into Cindy while contemplating maybe possibly thinking about asking out her friend at the bar. Robin looks worse for the wear after her breakup with Don but puts the pieces back together just to prove she can. Marshall and Lily fight about his loose lips regarding their baby-making.

Marshall and Lily keep thinking they see Barney's Doppleganger which, they agreed in the last episode, will be the Universe's sign that it's time to start trying to have a baby. Robin says goodbye to Don. Best of all, Ted goes blond!

Ted's on the lookout for baggage regarding the new girl he's been dating and in doing so, finds his own in a newly released blockbuster movie called The Wedding Bride, written by Tony Graffanelo. The movie hilariously recounts the love triangle from Shelter Island....this is a can't miss.
